As part of a school trip to Romania, you and your class decide to create your own side trip: Visit the Castle Poenari, where Vlad the Impaler lived--the same man who inspired Bram Stoker to write the novel Dracula.
Upon arriving, you're greeted by an elderly tour guide who welcomes you in, provides you supper and hot drink, and invites you to roam the castle on your own--as long as you stay in this wing of the castle.
However, you and your classmates dare each other to venture further into the castle, down deep, dark corridors, until you see a blue light emanating from one room. You all investigate.
At the stroke of 12:00 midnight, the howl of wolves comes through the window, and the room fills with fog, swirls of gray and silver dancing in front of your eyes, entrancing, a kaleidoscope of iridescent specks of dust. Your last vision is of three female vampires, smiling down at you, brushing the hair behind your ears, and you can't help but notice the sharpness of their teeth.
Hours later, you and your classmates awaken in a dark, dusty room. Out the window, you see the castle is built upon a precipice of a steep cliff so steep you can see no bottom under the mist. Your necks ache, and you notice pinprick marks on your friends' necks.
It's clear: Dracula was more than just a story for books and movies! You must escape! Your lives depend on it! However, the door is locked with five different locks. Can you break them before the vampires return to finish draining your lifeblood?
